COUNTDOWN TO LIFTOFF...

TODAY IS THE DAY. Really. We're ready. We mean it this time. Online Registration will start at 10:00 Pacific Standard Time.

Have your Registration Form in front of you, and your credit card.

Then -- go to the Show website -- Sewexpo.com and click on the quilt block on the lower right. It looks like this:

A lot of people have worked really hard to get this right -- but we need to be realistic. I have absolutely noooo idea what's going to happen at 10:00 today.

Remember what I said about checking the website for the CORRECTIONS...it will be a lot less confusing if you've made those changes BEFORE you start your registration.

And I know you're anxious...but you need to keep reminding yourself that nobody is doing any better than YOU are. And most of our classes have 200 seats -- and there are HUNDREDS of classes to choose from so the chances are you will get every class you want tomorrow...

Again -- thanks for your patience. We know YOU ARE THE BEST...

  2. oh, and here is a suggestion: if you press "ctrl + F" a 'find' field opens in the upper left corner of your browser. put the seminar number you are looking for in that find field... it will then highlight where on the page your seminar is.
That was the only challenge to registering--the seminars are ordered on the page by title instead of by number, and most of us wrote down numbers :)

  3. OMGoodness! the site went into overload - too many enthusiastic sewers I suspect!

When I finally finished all my registrations I only had a receipt of total payment. There was no record of all the classes I signed up for. Is there any way to confirm that all is good?

  4. The first 15 minutes were a little hairy. I imagined the poor little sever unplugging itself from the wall, scuttling over to a closet and hiding under a log cabin quilt. I thought to myself, "come on out sweetie, we are not going to hurt you." Suddenly I was online and none of my chosen workshops were sold out. HUGE CONGRATS TO THE IT TEAM!!

  5. Just finished up and had the same concern, no print off of the classes that were purchased. I tried phoning but could not get through. I have sent an email asking this question. My totals on my order form did not match the totals at check out, so I am guessing either I did not get a class or two I wanted OR I forgot to register for one. I hope they can email us a copy of our purchased classes. :)

Oh and not having the list by numbers was challenging. Thanks to my wonderful sister for pointing me to the search box to put in my class number, then carefully selecting the day and time, rather then scrolling through those lists. :)

    THANKS FOR EVERYTHING.

  6. Same concern re no list of classes registered for along with receipt of payment. I am bringing a small tour group of 10 women from the East coast and my email was dinging like crazy while I was registering with this concern. Any way to find out, other than waiting for our tickets to arrive in the mail?

  7. Finally got there, problems with checkout but resolved. Yes a list of classes would be good as I am coming from Australia, however the $ total matches what I had on my resigratation so all will be good I'm sure. I have also received an email confirming my purchase.

Thank you so much for the wonderful work that the team has done in getting this up and running and the poor server will need a big hug today.

  8. Hipee. I managed to complete my registration online - no problems. It was really easy since I used the registration form to get my workshops sorted before registering online. Cheer dears :)

  9. I was also concerned about not getting an itemized receipt of classes. If I had known, I would have pressed "Print Screen" before checking out. Also, I signed up for class 3029 which was listed in the corrections as being changed to 3029B. This was no where on the site, so I signed up for 3029F as listed in the original brochure and in the registration choices.

  12. Rita,

The email being sent out is only a confirmation of receiving payment, it does not list classes purchased. I will send an email to Ann.

    Thanks again,

    Carol

ps I have just left a voice mail because I think I forgot a class and would like it added to my bill, rather then pay another fee for both registering on line AND to send to Canada. I hope that's possible.

  13. Since I wasn't able to be at my computer this morning my sweet husband agreed to give it a go. He had no problems at all (especially after he discovered the search box) and successfully registered for 4 of us. He's a keeper!
Thanks for all the effort to make this system work. A good first effort. Way to go!
