2013 NEW SPEAKERS AND VENDORS

In the interest of figuring out how to use the fabulous new operating system -- Windows 7 -- I want to be able to share some videos with you ABOUT SOME OF OUR NEW SPEAKERS....

It is part of my job to attend other sewing shows and events around the country, tell people about Sew Expo -- to bring you the newest, the hottest, the latest...

Several years ago, I was walking along at the Quilt Market in Houston, Texas -- and I literally bumped into this woman....because I was looking down at their quilted floor mats...

As it turns out -- the floor mat teachers were from Bainbridge Island!! And they'd been trying to get into the show!! HEY -- I did this little video, showed it to the management team -- and BOOM....

Their seminars and workshops are huge successful, SELL OUT events...

Last fall, at the OSQE in Chantilly, Virginia, I watched Gail Yellen and was so impressed with her classes -- I made this little video and sent it to Ann Sagawa...

2012 was Gail's first year at the show -- and YOU LOVED HER!! This year, she'll be bringing her brand new book...

And in the coming weeks, I'll be posting something about a NEW SPEAKER OR VENDOR every week.

Because -- for 2013 -- we have 37 NEW SPEAKERS AND/OR VENDORS coming your way...!!

NO KIDDING!! I AM SEW EXCITED!!

2013 Coats & Clark Charity Event

In May, I went to Seattle for the 2013 Sewing & Stitchery Expo Planning meeting.
You will be hearing MORE ABOUT OUR PLANS in the coming weeks.

Things will be moving pretty fast now. Yesterday, Ann Sagawa received over 300 emails with new class descriptions from teachers all over the world. IT IS GOING TO BE A GREAT SHOW...
On the last day of my May visit to Seattle -- I got together with Barbara Bartolatz-Littrel and she gave me a tour of the Tree House -- where families can stay when their children are in the hospital.

During my tour -- it was thrilling for me to see our pillowcases in every patient room....

Yesterday, I received an email from Sharon Stone -- along with this picture. Her friend was at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital and snapped this shot of a basket full of pillowcases. Last year, with the encouragement and support of Coats & Clark -- Sew Expo attendees made 4,580 pillowcases for the children being treated at Mary Bridge!!

Here's a little video I made...

We are DELIGHTED that Coats & Clark will, once again, be the sponsor of our Sunday Charity Event.

AND THERE WILL BE SOME BIG, BIG CHANGES...you're really not gonna believe it...

Next week -- I'll be able to WRITE ALL ABOUT IT...
