Coats & Clark Celebrates 200 Years

WE ARE SO HONORED to be kicking off the Coats & Clark 200th Anniversary PARTY!!

They just launched their "History of Coats & Clark" website -- and we are urging you to go there and tell your own stories...

One of the things Coats is doing to commemorate this very special anniversary -- 200 years in business is a very big deal, after all -- is to REISSUE sewing trading cards! These cards will only be given out at special events -- and everybody who attends the Sunday Coats & Clark Pro-Am Sewing Exhibition WILL RECEIVE A SET of these limited edition collectible cards.

They have many different cards up on their history website...I love this little girl...

And this one has that great hat -- with the feathers...

But -- c'mon -- a little girl and her dog?? WHO COULD RESIST THIS???

So -- here's the deal. The Coats & Clark Pro-Am Sewing Exhibition takes place on Sunday morning at 10:30 AM. Every cent of your $10 donation goes directly to the Mary Bridge Children's Hospital. At the event, you'll see an entertaining show where our Sewing Stars -- like Martha Pullen and Pati Palmer -- walk the runway with their sewing "rookies".

EVERY ATTENDEE WILL receive the special commemorative trading cards Coats is bringing to celebrate their 200th anniversary.

AND -- THE FIRST 200 attendees will also receive a "special gift" from Coats. It could be a tin -- or it could be a special story book...(neither one is available for photography)..

I'LL KEEP YOU POSTED...

Also -- DO NOT FORGET -- we have some very valuable door prizes for 2012. For the first time -- thanks to our brand new vendor -- Juki Sewing Machine Company -- we will be giving away TWO SEWING MACHINES.

To get your ticket to the Sunday charity event -- you can go to the show website --
and click on the "Mary Bridge page". Here's the beauty part -- you can make your donation (using a credit card) -- and Mary Bridge will send you a receipt -- which you can print -- and it will serve as your ticket to the event!!
