I had the same issue. I was using Firefox. However, I discovered that using Internet Explorer, it worked fine. :( I know lots of people use Firefox, but they must not have thought of that when doing this. (As a web project manager, that was one of our big challenges - making sure it worked in all browsers and different versions)
You are EXACTLY right, Diana. I was told they "fixed" the Firefox probem -- but we've been saying USE INTERNET EXPLORER in this blog, on Facebook, and in the December newsletter. Apparently, we need to keep saying it...
It isn't that big a challenge, particularly in this day and age. Those that are in the know DO NOT use Internet Explorer, and for those developing for the web, to make an error of this type and magnitude is truly astounding!
As an IT support person I hope you gave your software programmer and server admin the last few days off to rest up. You do realize at 12 midnight we are going to TAX that server to it's limits and those folks aren't going to know what hit them :)
A previous comment said the first day of registration (whenever That happens--getting a little impatient here! LOL) will start at 8a.m. so they can have live people there to man the phones. I know...I was waiting a midnight last night to register, and then found out (by clicking on the link to this blog--it would have been nice to have the info on the website, too) that online registration wasn't going to happen today after all. Bummer....

I tried to download the brochure. But I keep getting an Adobe error message that the file is damaged and can't be repaired.

ReplyDeleteDear CanusaSwede -- I couldn't agree more...and I only wish we were astounding you in a GOOD way...sorry. But the problem does seem to be fixed...
ReplyDeleteI'm a Firefox user and had no problem at all downloading the brochure. Problem seems to be fixed.
ReplyDeleteBless you, Glyn Devereaux. Thanks for the little good news.
